Bob Dunn's Planned Gift Supports Bryn Mawr Hospital and The Community

Bob Dunn was a dedicated supporter of Bryn Mawr Hospital. A longtime resident of the community, he took great pride in enhancing and preserving the area for its residents. Supporting Bryn Mawr Hospital was merely an extension of his commitment to the community.

"Bryn Mawr Hospital is truly a great place," he said. "I am especially attached to the nurses here. They always seem to be in good spirits — which is particularly difficult in their line of work."

Bryn Mawr Hospital gave Robert Dunn a sense of pride in the community and in return, he gave Bryn Mawr Hospital a home. Literally. When Dunn passed away, in addition to setting up a generous endowment to support nursing and physician recruitment and retention, he bequeathed Bryn Mawr Hospital his brick center hall colonial home on County Line Road in Haverford Township.

"Nothing is more important to the people of the community than Bryn Mawr Hospital," he was quoted as saying. "I am personally invested in the area, and I love it here. Supporting Bryn Mawr Hospital is vital to the growth and well-being of the community."
