Doing her part to make sure Bryn Mawr Hospital is here for generations to come
Julie Williams
Bryn Mawr Hospital has a special place in my heart, notes Julie Williams, a long-time friend of the Hospital. Julie's children and grandchildren were born here, and she and her family recognize the importance of having a high-quality community hospital so close to home.
As a former fundraising professional and volunteer, Julie fully understands the value of helping to support cherished community institutions, and believes that Bryn Mawr Hospital is well-deserving of her charitable donations.
After all, Bryn Mawr is her community hospital and Julie credits the excellent physicians at BMH for saving her life, or, to be more exact, three out of her nine – so far! And when her late husband Tom was ill, the nursing care he received was exceptionally loving and competent.
While she is proud to contribute annually to Bryn Mawr Hospital as a member of the Gerhard Society, Julie wants to be sure that the hospital will be there to care for future generations of her family and others. She chose to fund a charitable gift annuity with Bryn Mawr Hospital, a very simple type of gift that benefits the future of the hospital and guarantees her fixed income payments for the rest of her life.
In the end, Julie appreciates the great care that her family has received at Bryn Mawr Hospital and is happy to do her part to make sure her local hospital is here for generations to come.
